Dorcas Miller Schreffler

Mrs. Dorcas Miller Schreffler of Atlanta died Friday, November 19, 2004. She was a food service supervisor in the DeKalb Medical community and was active as a Jehovah's Witness. Mrs. Schreffler was preceded in death by her husband, James Schreffler; her son, Don Schreffler, Sr.; and her daughter, Dian Schreffler Martin. She is survived by her granddaughter, Donna Jennings of Atlanta; grandsons, Carl Martin of Cumming, Charles Martin, Jr. of Duluth, Don Schreffler, Jr. of VA; four great grandchildren, Cameron and Olivia Martin, Ethan Jennings, and Grant Martin; son-in-law, Charles H. Martin, Sr. of Atlanta; and daughter-in-law, Diane Frederick VanderKraats. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 26, in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Mr. Willard Kohorn and Mr. Dan Kennedy will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Martin-Schreffler Music Scholarship Fund, c/o Newberry College, 2100 College St., Newberry, SC 29108, ATTN: Planned Giving. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Friday and after the service at A. S. Turner & Sons.
