Dorman John Cown, Jr.

Mr. Dorman John Cown, Jr. of Stone Mountain died Sunday, November 28, 2004. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stone Mountain and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 5257 of Stone Mountain. He is survived by two daughters, Cathy Franklin, Lawrenceville, GA and Christy Sue Cown, Jonesboro, GA; son, Alan Cown, Jacksonville, FL; brother, Mr. Ray Cown, Stone Mountain, GA; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 P. M. Thursday, December 2, 2004, in the Chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Rev. Dan Parker will officiate. Interment Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 P. M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
