Dorothy L. Roberts

Mrs. Dorothy L. Roberts, 85, a long-time resident of Decatur, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at home, due to complications from Parkinson's Disease. Dot Roberts was devoted to her family and her husband of 56 years, Edwin Thomas Roberts, who passed away eight years ago. They were members of the Eastlake Methodist Church and later the Decatur First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Roberts is survived by her daughter, Patricia Roberts; and her sister and brother-in law, Marilyn and John Whiting; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at A.S. Turner & Sons. Interment at Decatur Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23rd at A. S. Turner & Sons.
