Dorothy Najour

Dorothy A. Najour, 87, of Atlanta, Georgia died Friday May 09, 2025 at Emory Hospital-Decatur. She was born March 29, 1938 in New Albany, Mississippi to the late William and Dorothy Harper Abernathy.

A beautiful woman who was a loving wife and mother to five sons. She loved tennis and was a good player to age 75. She will always be loved by her family. Dorothy always said "life is like a dream".

Her husband, Dan, preceded her as well as her youngest son, Dennis. Dorothy is survived by four sons, Dan Jr, David, Douglas and Darryl and their wives along with 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory, 2773 N Decatur Rd Decatur, Georgia 30033, Wednesday May 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Dr SW Atlanta, Georgia 30310.
