Dr. Kenneth Joe (Doc) Barbee

Dr. Kenneth Joe "Doc" Barbee, 66, of Decatur, died Monday, September 26, 2011. He was born to Walter George Barbee and Juanita Lankford Barbee on September 22, 1945 in Mobile, AL. Surviving are his son, George "Bubba" and Jennifer Barbee of Talbotton, GA; daughter, Deborah and Shane Stalnaker of Alexander City, AL; grandsons, Clay Barker and Matthew Barbee; granddaughters, Morgan Barbee and Kaylee Barbee; sister, Ann Stone of Columbus, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Denise Barbee, of Phenix City, AL; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Larry T. Burgess officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00 am Thursday morning.
