Edna May Jenkins

Edna May Jenkins, 73, of Atlanta, was called home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2012. An ordained minister and homemaker, Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her loving mother, Lillie Mae "Ted" Smith; three precious daughters and wonderful sons-in-law, Darlene and Efrain Ibarra, Sherry and Barry Smith and Tiffany and Aaron Holbrook; beloved grandchildren, Timothy and Dawson; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William R. Jenkins, her father, Thomas W. Brown and her brother, Eugene Brown. The funeral will be 2 PM, Saturday, May 19, in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev Van Smith and Rev. Regina Smith officiating. The family will receive friends 12-2 PM and 6-8 PM Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, Decatur.
