Edward Herndon Brown, Sr.

Edward Herndon Brown, Sr., 84, of Decatur, passed away May 23. He was the owner of Edward H. Brown and Associates, and of the Presbyterian faith. He was proceeded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Florence Stallings Brown, and his mother, Lucia Brown Bone. Survivors include sons, Edward H. (Lianne) Brown, Jr., Decatur, Walter Thomas (Radika) Brown, Atlanta, Joseph Powell (Donna) Brown, Auburn, Alabama; daughter, Jan Brown Moses, Trenton, Georgia; brothers Tom (Lois) Brown and Jimmy (Joan) Brown; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-granchildren. The family will receive visitors from 9 to 12 on Tuesday, May 26. Private graveside services will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winship Cancer Center at Emory University.
