December 10, 1926 — January 16, 2017
Effie McLeod Powell was born on Dec. 10, 1926, and went to her heavenly home on January 16, 2017. She is survived by a sister, Rachel M. Conway, and many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by her many friends. Effie was a active member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta. Services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017, with visitation at 10 am and service at 11am. A grave side service will be held in Mobile, AL at a later date.
