Eugene Frank Head

Eugene F. Head, 89, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 9, 2012. He was a member of Bonsack Baptist Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad, He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Manware; and one son, Frank Head, Jr.; granddaughter, Lahna Manware and is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Martha L. Head; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Lucie Head, Mark and Barbara Head; son-in-law, Bill Manware; four granndsons; three granddaughters-in-law; two granddaughters; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will beheld at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Oakey's East Chapel in Roanoke, Virginia with Rev. Danny Quirin officiating. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, 2000 Marietta Boulevard, Atlanta, GA 30318 with Rev. Larry Burgess officiating.
