Eugenia Hinton

EUGENIA HENRY HINTON was born August 4, 1941 in Waycross, Georgia and died August 17, 2014 in Dekalb County, Georgia. In 1973, she married Charles Ronald Hinton of Dekalb County. Genie, as she was known to friends and family, worked most of her life in administration for hospitals and doctor's offices. Upon retirement, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of being an actress, appearing in minor roles in such films as My Cousin Vinny and Fried Green Tomatoes. Genie loved watching movies, loved animals, and deeply loved her family. She is survived by Ron, her husband of 41 years; son, C. Dean Findley; and stepson, Mike Hinton. A service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 21, 2014 with visitation a half hour prior to the service at A. S. Turner and Sons, 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, GA 30033. A. S.
