Evelyn Alford Smyly

Mrs. Evelyn Alford Browder Smyly of Decatur died Tuesday, November 15, 2005. She is the daughter of the late Earl and Goldie Browder. She was a resident of Regency House and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by children, Sandra Alford Maddox and Robert Winston Alford; and brother, Walter Browder. She is survived by daughters, Becki Ingram and her husband Mark, Brenda Alford Hardy and husband Bob; grandchildren, Lynne Maddox Killingsworth and husband Tim, Daniel Earl Alford, Karen Thorogood and husband Paul, Scott David Ingram, Brian Winston Hardy, Lisa Ingram Maxwell and husband Brian, Kimberly Hardy; great grandchildren, Joy and Amy Killingsworth, Michael and Andrew Ingram and Jacob Maxwell; and sisters, Juanita Ulsh, Wanda Mawhinney and Eunice Bailey. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2 p.m. Friday, November 18th, Pastor Fred Unger  officiating. The burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
