Evelyn F. Johnston

Evelyn F. Johnston, 84, of Decatur, Ga passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12th, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James H. Johnston, Sr., in 2004, parents Rayborn Clay Foster and Flossie Evelyn Baker Foster. Evelyn was an active member of Decatur First United Methodist Church where she loved her church family dearly. She was a devoted wife and mother as well as a 43 yr. employee of Coastal States (Sun Life) Insurance Co. She is survived by sons James H. Johnston, Jr. (Jessica) of Snellville, Ga. and Charles G. Johnston of Decatur, Ga., sister Anne Barnard (Ralph) of Long Beach, Ca., sister-in-law Betty Johnston Daniel of Sandy Springs, Ga., grandsons Ian Johnston, Seth Johnston and Corey Johnston, several nieces and nephews and many wonderful and close friends. The family will receive visitors from 4-8PM on Monday, Sept 24th and 10-11AM Tuesday, Sept. 25th at A.S. Turner & Sons, 2773 North Decatur Rd. Decatur, Ga. 30033. A memorial service will be held at Decatur First United Methodist Church at 11 AM Tuesday, Sept. 25th, with burial immediately following at Decatur Cemetery. A. S.
