Evelyn Wright Mahaffey

Mrs. Evelyn Mahaffey of Decatur died Monday, November 9, 2009.  She is survived by her husband, James W. Mahaffey, sons James A. (Carolyn) and Alan B. Mahffey; grandsons Alexander and Colen Mahaffey, Hohn Whatley (Molly), and granddaughter Jennifer Whatley Fletcher (David), and five great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at Central Congregational UCC on Thursday, November 12th at 11 a.m. with Dr. Michael Pater officiating.  Burial will be in the Hoschton City Cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions may be sent to Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Dr., Atlanta, GA 30319.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 11th at A.S. Turner & Sons.
