Faith Batchelder

Faith (Mayers) Batchelder passed away peacefully surrounded by family and a dear friend on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born in Mineola, Long Island, NY on March 7, 1933, to parents William and Anna (Shurko) Mayers who preceded her in death.

Faith grew up during the Great Depression when her father found work as a caretaker on an estate on the Long Island (Great Neck). She enjoyed telling stories about watching boats while playing on the rocks on the coast. She and her family moved to Massachusetts when she was 12 years old. She graduated from Warren High School in 1951 and began work as an executive secretary at Warren Steam Pump Company (Warren Pumps) retiring in 1996.

She is reunited with her beloved parents and her daughter, Leigh.

Faith is survived by daughters Leslie (Jeffrey) and Laurie (Tim), grandchildren Jonathan, Riley (Eric), Anna Leigh, Matthew (Ruby), and Elizabeth, and great-grandson Paul. She also leaves behind sister Penny (Joe-deceased), nephews Rock (Laura) and Teddy (Tina) and grand-nieces Elizabeth (Fred) and Kara (Zach).

A family hosted memorial service will be held at a future date.
