Faye Fultz Woodruff

Faye Fultz Woodruff, 83, of Atlanta, GA passed away on May 12, 2026.

Faye was born on November 11, 1942 in Cordele, GA, to Benjamin and Mildred Fultz.

Faye graduated from Vienna High School in Vienna, GA, in 1960, where she was named Miss Vienna High School her senior year.

Faye married her high school sweetheart Larry Woodruff on March 10, 1962. The couple had 3 sons, Lyle, Andrew, and Benjamin.

In 1985, Faye and her best friend Vivian Harrell founded The Personal Touch Hallmark Cards and Gifts, which was their pride and joy until they retired in 2017.

Faye was known for her kind and loving nature, her beautiful smile, her strong faith, and her dedication to her family, She was a devoted and compassionate mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She also enjoyed socializing with her many lifelong friends. She loved cooking and traveling, and her home was filled with strawberry and rabbit themed decor. And she treasured holidays, especially Christmas.

Faye is survived by her sons Lyle, Andrew, and Benjamin Woodruff; sister Merle Collins; sisters-in-law Ann Woodruff, Paula Faye Owens, and Arlene Fultz; grandchildren Logan, Christopher, and Kimberly Woodruff; granddaughter-in-law Stephanie Woodruff; great-grandsons Lincoln and Hudson Woodruff, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Faye is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Larry Woodruff; her parents Benjamin and Mildred Fultz; and her brothers Ernest, Julius, Wayne, and Steve Fultz.

The service for Faye will be held Thursday May 21 at 2:00 pm, at A. S. Turner & Sons, 2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033.

Faye will be laid to rest next to her husband Larry at Vienna City Cemetery, Vienna, GA, in a private graveside service.
