Mr. Floyd Horner, 84, of Atlanta passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012. He married the love of his life, Marilee Sisk Horner in 1951 and she preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Lee Horner and Judy Silverman of Atlanta; daughter, Lynn and Glenn Lindsey of Fayetteville, sister, Marie Parks and John Clopton of Nashville, TN. Mr. Horner is also survived by his grandchildren and their spouses, Chad and Kim Lindsey of Cumming and Adrian and Zack Stewart of Villa Rica. Mr. Horner proudly served his country during WWII having served in the U S Army. Funeral services will be held Monday February 27 at 11:00 am at the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Tom Van Laningham officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Floyd's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Ga. Chapter, 1925 Century Boulevard, Suite 10, Atlanta, GA 30345, or the church or charity of your choice. The family will receive friends on Sunday February 26 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
