Frances Atkeson Smith

Mrs. Frances Atkeson Smith of Atlanta died Wednesday, January 26, 2005.

She was born in Buffalo, Putnam County, West Virginia.  Mrs. Smith was a member of Embry Hill United Methodist Church.  She was the widow of Archie G. Smith. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Cheryl Smith of Duluth, Dave and Linda Smith of Gainesville, Tom Smith of Atlanta; sister, Virginia Ramsden of Livonia, MI; sisters-in-law, Margaret Pittard; Ruth and Leonard Abel, both of Winston Salem, NC; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 28th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons.  Rev. Mark Westmoreland will officiate.  Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
