ESTES, EUGENIA –
Mrs. Eugenia Smith Estes, age 88, formerly of Avondale Estates, passed away at her home in Homer, GA on Sunday, December 27, 2009. Mrs. Estes was born in Atlanta and lived most of her life in Avondale Estates. She was a homemaker and an active member of Decatur First United Methodist Church and Avondale Garden Club. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Egbert W. Estes; daughter, Ellen Whitfield; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Keith Campbell, all of Homer, GA; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and visitation at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons, Decatur, GA.
