George Franklin Jakes

George Franklin ("Frank") Jakes, 77, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on February 1st, 2022, at Northeast Medical Hospital in Gainesville, GA, with family by his side. Frank was born on July 4th, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia, son of Robert and Bernice Jakes. His parents, Robert and Bernice, his brothers Robert Jr. and Donald are predeceased. He is survived by his wife Bettye, son Frank (Tammie), son Greg, granddaughter Maddy, sister (Ellen), sister-in-law (Jeanie), nephews Brandon, David, Andy, and niece Laura.
