Listen to Obituary

With unbelievable sadness but such heartfelt remembrance we share that George Eugene "Randy" Randolph, age 67, passed away unexpectantly on April 23, 2026. Born on October 1, 1958, Randy was the oldest of six siblings and lived a big, gregarious and accomplished life reflected in deep connection with those around him. Wherever he went, he made friends effortlessly and had a smile that drew people in along with a laugh that many can still hear echoing.

Always a success driven man, Randy did anything necessary to pursue his dreams as well as support his family and friends. One of his many gifts was seeing possible achievement in others even more than they could see in themselves. When Randy was able to disconnect from the desire and duty he felt toward family, friends and business, he continued his lifelong athletic endeavors, loved to orchestrate an elaborate culinary spread for others, mow his prized lawn, eat ice cream, hear of his family, children and grandchildren's latest escapades, and enjoy time in and around water. Whether he was swimming laps/lounging poolside, sailing on the lake, or relaxing at the beach, Randy was in his element wherever there was water beneath him and sun overhead.

Randy is survived by his favorite teammate of nearly 45 years, Chrys; his three beloved children, Brit (James), Jamie, and Max (Emily); his amazing parents, George and Dee; his loving siblings Michelle (Mark), Lisa, Gina (David), Christopher (Dawn), and Stephanie (Mike); four immensely cherished grandchildren; and a host of special nieces and nephews.

Big 'ol "Randy/Dolph/Rand/Dad/RandyRand/Grandy" leaves behind not only an exuberance of his vision of the possibility for himself but for all those he loved, believed in, supported and engaged with. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A Celebration of Randy's Life will be held on May 30, 2026.
