George William Biffle

George William Biffle, age 81 of Decatur, passed away February 19, 2014. He was a native of Scottdale and graduated from Avondale High School. He was a barber over 50 years. He was a Deacon at Ingleside Presbyterian Church and was currently a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Scottdale. The love of his life was pigeons, goats and his dogs. Survivors include his wife, Linda Biffle; daughter, Kim Biffle McElroy; son, Michael Biffle of Houston, TX; brother, Kenneth Biffle of Social Circle; and 6 grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 9:00. Funeral service will held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Luke Durden officiating in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker.
