Georgia Wyonia Wyatt was born March 7, 1930, and passed away July 17, 2026, at the age of 96.

She was a woman of unwavering faith, boundless compassion, and remarkable strength whose life reflected her deep love for God, her family, and her community. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to serving others, leaving a legacy of kindness, grace, and steadfast commitment that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

For many years, she faithfully served the Lord through The Salvation Army, answering His call with humility, dedication, and an unwavering servant's heart. Her ministry touched countless lives as she shared the message of hope, faith, and God's love. Through years of faithful service, she rose to the rank of Brigadier before retiring, a testament to her exceptional leadership, tireless devotion, and enduring commitment to God's work.

One of her greatest joys was staying connected with those she loved. She believed in the power of thoughtful words and meaningful gestures, taking great pride in writing heartfelt cards and letters that offered encouragement, celebrated milestones, and reminded others they were loved. Whether through a handwritten note or a phone call, she faithfully reached out to family and friends, making each person feel valued, remembered, and cherished.

She is survived by her children, Stephen Lee Wyatt (Gloria) and Thomas Clayton Wyatt (Adele McAuley); daughter-in-law, Ruth Wyatt; grandchildren, Andrew Clayton Wyatt, Mathew Anthony Wyatt, Stephanie Mayree Wyatt, Daniel Joshua Wyatt, and Elizabeth Ashley Wyatt; nephews, Kenney L. Wilson, Rocky G. Wilson, Dean Wilson, and John Vance Wilson; niece, Deana Aven; and numerous extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Basil C. Wyatt; son, Daniel Neal Wyatt; siblings, Virgil D. Wilson, George C. Wilson, and Edna Mae Hansen; and niece, Donna D. Patillo.
