Gerald Carl Rumps

Mr. Gerald Carl Rumps of Atlanta, born September 30, 1923 died Monday, March 7, 2005. He is greatly loved and will be missed by his wife of 54 years, Lorraine; his 9 living children, Karen, Kurt, Kathy, Kris, Kim, Kevin, Kolleen, Karoline, and Ken; sister, Gladys Kusmer; 15 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. A veteran of World War II and Korea, he will be remembered as a kind and generous man with a strong faith. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, March 9th at 1 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church followed by a graveside service in Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons
