Gerry Kosmetatos

Mr. Jerry Kosmetatos, 93, of Atlanta, died Saturday, January 15, 2005.  Born in Greece, he was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army.  He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Effie; daughter, Dr. Niki Kosmetatos of Atlanta; son, Mr. Aries Kosmetatos of Cumming; grandson, John Kosmetatos; sisters, Maria Floratos and Irene Venos; sister-in-law, Katina Kosmetatos, all of New York; and several nieces & nephews.  Those desiring may send contributions to the American Cancer Society or St. Sophia?s Greek Orthodox Church, 325 Waring Road, Syracuse, NY  13224.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons.
