Gladys Humphreys

Mrs. Gladys Adams Humphreys died August 16, 2004. Mrs. Humphreys was a resident of Decatur for 55 years. She is survived by sons, Bill Humphreys of Valley, AL, Melvin Humphreys of Covington, GA; daughters, Mattie Lee Tyler of Durham, NC, Mary Ruth Humphreys of Decatur, GA, Patricia H. Gagatko of Aumsville, OR; sister, Louise Kinsey of Sugar Valley, GA; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Dr. J. Hoffman Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
