Hazel Harper Goetzel

Mrs. Hazel Harper Goetzel, 93, of Decatur died Thursday, June 5, 2008. She served her country during WWII in the U. S. Women's Army Corps.  Mrs. Goetzel retired from Rich's Department Store, where she worked for over 30 years.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Robert Pruitt of Oxford; son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Karen Goetzel of Duluth; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Rosebud Baptist Church with Rev. Lloyd Stancil officiating.  Interment will be at Haynes Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Loganville.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
