Henry Upton Jones

Henry Upton Jones, 90, of Avondale Estates, GA passed away on September 1, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty, his daughter Cathy (Mike) Kent, and sons Frank (Marifae) Jones and David (Joanna) Jones, plus his many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Henry grew up in Columbus, GA but had lived in Avondale for the last 56 years. He was a United States Navy veteran, having served in the Korean War. He loved golfing with his buddies in Avondale, spending time at his Rabun County cabin, and was an avid participant and Senior Champion in the Cowboy Action Shooting series in Georgia.
The family will not have a service at this time but they have certainly appreciated all the wonderful calls, texts, and e-mails from their friends and family.
