June 29, 1973 — July 15, 2015
On July 15th, 2015 Ian Copland unexpectedly died playing hockey – a game he loved. With massive love for his beautiful wife Jennifer and their 2 magical children Samantha and Matthew; his amazing parents Bill & Susan Copland; his noisy siblings, Heather (Steve), Meagan (Mark) and Andrew; his extended family Ken & Bunny Saul, Debi (Scott), Jeff (Jo); his wonderful team of niece and nephews; and his vibrant circle of friends. Ian's spirit, humor, joy, and love of life will be missed now and always. Visitation is planned for Sunday July 19th from 3-6 pm and a Remembrance Service on Monday July 20th at 2pm (A.S. Turner & Sons, 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, GA). A service is being planned for Toronto in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation https://giving.choa.org/tributedonationform. A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
