Imogene N. Snellings

Imogene N. Snellings, 82, of Decatur passed away November 16, 2007.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Walter Arnold Snellings and worked for and was a member of The Atlanta Music Club for 16 years.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur since October 7, 1956.  Mrs. Snellings is survived by her son, Arthur Keith Snellings of Decatur; grandson, Arthur Keith Snellings, Jr. of Decatur; brother, Kenneth Nelms of Bowman, GA; and one nephew; and two nieces. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 19th at Decatur First Baptist Church with Dr. Peter Rhea Jones officiating.  Interment Hillcrest Cemetery in Bowman, GA at 2:00 P. M. The Honorary Pallbearers will be the Joy Class of Decatur First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
