James Luther Suttles, Jr.

James Luther Suttles, Jr., 77, of Decatur, died Saturday, October 19, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Millie Suttles; daughter, Nancy Suttles of Roswell; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Julie Suttles of Loganville; grandsons, Trey Suttles and Colby Suttles; and sister, Sandra Collins of Centerville VA. A native of Sumter County, Mr. Suttles was a retired financial officer for Phillips Petroleum Co., where he worked for over 28 years. He retired a Captain with the Georgia National Guard, where he served for 24 years. He was a long-time member of First Christian Church of Decatur. A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, October 22nd, at First Christian Church of Decatur with Dr. James Brewer-Calvert officiating. The family will receive guests immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, please send a contribution in loving memory of James L.
