James Richard Dawsey

Mr. Richard Dawsey of Decatur died Monday, August 27, 2007. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 1939 and then served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Mr. Dawsey was a member of the North Decatur United Methodist Church and the Pythagoras Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lemuel Davis Dawsey. He is survived by his son, Rick Dawsey of Marietta; daughter, Kae Dickson-Ivey of Cumming; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 29th at 2 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Macon. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
