Janet Ruth Worley

Janet Ruth (Cook) Worley, 73 of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021. She had a great fondness of books and was an avid reader. She was a dog lover and was always bragging on her grandchildren. Janet is survived by her husband, James D. Worley; daughter, Janet "Jodi" Turner and husband, Stan; son, Russell Worley; grandson, Luke Turner; granddaughter, Olivia Turner; sister Joyce Coney and husband, Sammy; and a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Melwood Cemetery on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 am to 12 noon.
