Jeanne Duncan Lee

Jeanne Duncan Lee, beloved wife of David Lee for 56 years, succumbed to cancer on April 3. Her sons, Andrew and Taylor, preceded her in death.

Jeanne loved to teach and taught high school students history and government for 48 years. She began her teaching career at Towers High School, then Avondale's Performing Arts, then Heritage High in Conyers followed by Decatur High School and finally Paideia in Decatur.

She loved her students and they loved her. She was selected as STAR teacher in three different schools, multiple times.

Jeanne cultivated friends and often hosted gatherings for 'Happy' and sometimes 'Unhappy Hours.'

A Celebration of Life will occur later in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Georgia Innocence Project or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
