Jeffrey Carter Anderson, 62, passed away on July 29, 2025, in Clarkston, GA.
Jeff was born in Austin, TX to Carter & Betty Anderson. He was raised with a strong sense of humor and a warm heart and was deeply loved by his family and many friends. A proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, he remained a loyal Sooner fan throughout his life - Saturdays in the fall were sacred.
Jeff loved life's simple joys: time with friends, family gatherings, live music and concerts, and the camaraderie of a good happy hour. His generosity, quick wit, and unmistakable laugh made every room brighter.
He is survived by his husband, Christopher Wilde; his parents, Carter and Betty Anderson; his brother, Jonathan Anderson; his nephew, Camden Anderson; and many cousins. He is also survived by Debra Wilde - mother-in-law, Glenn Wilde (Becky) - father-in-law, Shannon Wilde-Gilliland (Jeremy) - sister-in-law. Jeff leaves behind many lifelong friends including Jim Helberg, Frank Espinel & Jerry Buttelwerth, David Montgomery & Sean Gaynor, Larry Robinson, and Phil Rabon who will carry his memory forward with love and stories that will keep him close.
