Jerry Dean Carswell, 62, of Atlanta, Georgia died February 9, 2025 at Emory St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born March 18, 1962, in Atlanta, Georgia to James E. Carswell, Sr. and Gwendolyn P. Carswell.
Jerry was an assistant manager for Publix.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn P. Carswell; sister, Wanda Daly; brother, Greg Carswell; and nephew, Evan Carswell.
He is survived by his father, James E. Carswell, Sr; stepmother, Marlyn Carswell; and brother James E. Carswell, Jr.
A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory, 2773 N Decatur Rd. Decatur, Georgia 30033, was in charge of arrangements. Services were private.
