Jerry Michael Lyons, 69, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday September 3, 2016. He was born in Atlanta to Carl Frank & Margaret Skelton Lyons. Jerry is survived by his sisters, Pat Horne, Emma Malone and Tillie Rutledge; brother, Jimmy & Anita Lyons; nieces and nephews, Vickie & Bobby Garrett, Kristy Bowen, Tammy Skinner, Eric Rutledge and Charles Lyons. His funeral services will be held Wednesday September 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons, with Rev. Tim Royster officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Churchyard. The family will receive friends on Tuesday September 6 from 10:00 am to 12 noon and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory.
