Jesse Griffin

Jesse Cliff Griffin, aged 93, passed away at his home in Atlanta, GA, on May 19, 2025. He was born April 19,1932 in Griffin, GA.

Cliff proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. Following his military service, he embarked on a successful career, notably serving as the Southeast Regional Sales Manager at Honeywell Corporation and later contributing significantly to Frazier Service.

He completed his education at Spalding County High School, followed by further studies at the Southern Technical Institute. He was a longtime member of Embry Hills United Methodist Church.

Cliff was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane Chalkley Griffin; his parents, Frank and Effie Griffin; and his grandson, Eric Griffin.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family, including his son, Jeff Griffin (Denise); daughter, Alicia Harris; and grandchildren, Allison Carpio (Chris), Taylor Harris (Becca), and Tracy Harris.

Family and friends will gather Thursday May 22, 2025 at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory, 2773 N Decatur Rd. 30033, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Graveside service will be held Friday May 23, 2025 at Oak Hill Cemetery, 797 Memorial Dr. Griffin, GA 30224 at 10:30 AM. Officiated by Rev. Dr. Jordan Thrasher.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
