Jessie M. Swett

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jessie M. Swett, 92, of Decatur on March 10, 2008. Mrs. Swett was a retiree of Rich's Dept. Store, downtown location, after many years of service. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Greenwood of Decatur; grandsons, Philip Keys of Carrollton and Tim Greenwood of Calgary, Alberta; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Edmonson of Columbus and many nieces and nephews. She will now be with her husband, son and eldest daughter in a place where there is no more suffering. A special thank you to Nate Kemp for his caring kindness over the years, and to Thessaly Bowan, her visiting home nurse. Graveside services will be held today, Wednesday, at 1:00 PM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Goodnight to a much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. May you rest in peace. A.S.
