John   Stewart, Jr.

Mr. John Daniel "J.D." Stewart, Jr. went to be with the Lord at 1:40 A.M. Wednesday, June 25, 2008.  He was a veteran of World War II and proud to serve his country.  Mr. Stewart was an employee of A & P for 35 years and also worked for Massey Fair.  He is survived by his wife, Nancy Stewart; son, Brad Stewart and his wife Sherry; sister, Beatrice Collier; step children, Allan Forysth and Allana Kyall; granddaughters, Bethany and Laura Stewart; and grandson, Ron Smith.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 28th at 12:00 Noon at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Womack officiating. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  Those desiring may send contributions to a charity of their choice.  The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
