Jose Marquez

José Marquez, beloved husband of Griselda Marquez, father of Fransisco Marquez and Alexander (Lauren) Marquez, and grandfather to Kylie J. Marquez, Fox K. Marquez, and Alexander C. Marquez, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, July 10th, the year of our Lord 2025 at 4:45 A.M.

José had a passion for traveling, having toured much of the world, a taste for fun times in Las Vegas, and a knack for sea fishing.

The story of his journey into this country is nothing short of book-worthy, having narrowly escaped the communist clutches of Cuba. He certainly leaves behind quite a legacy to his children and grandchildren.

He will be remembered as a strong believer in God, a provider for his family, and for having a passion in life that was well lived. He was a self made man having started from six cents in his pocket to owning multiple businesses. He valiantly fought for the ideals and principles in which he believed. Many will remember him as having a heart of pure gold with many friends who truly loved him. He bestowed a headstrong sense of right and wrong.

José Marquez will be deeply missed by many but his memory and legacy will be one that carries on forever.
