Joseph Gabriel Smith, Jr.

Mr. Joseph G. Smith, Jr., age 51, of Tuscaloosa, formerly of Atlanta died Friday, October 19, 2007. He is survived by his daughter, Miss Lyndsey Smith of Tuscaloosa, AL; parents, Joseph and Jewelene Smith of Atlanta; sisters, Karen Smith of Los Angeles, CA, Linda Geiss and husband Charles of Birmingham, AL, Laura Abbott and husband Justin of Decatur, GA; uncle, George T. Traylor of Malone, AL; aunt, Eleanor Traylor of Atlanta, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 22, 2007 with Monsignor Paul Fogarty officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., Sunday with a Rosary at 7:30 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
