Joseph Harold Chandler

Mr. Joseph Harold Chandler, age 79, of Decatur died Saturday, March 24, 2007.  A veteran of the Air Force, he worked for Lockheed for 39 years.  He was a member of Rainbow Park Baptist Church, and he was a Mason.  Mr. Chandler was preceded in death by his wife, Freddie Beatrice Chandler; and his brother, James W. Chandler.  He is survived by his son, Steve Chandler and his wife Cindy of Greenville, SC; his daughter, Susan Chandler Hines and her husband John of Ontario, Canada; and four grandchildren, Drew and Emily Chandler of Greenville, SC, and Chandler and Alisha Hines of Ontario, Canada.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, at 11:00 am in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons.  Rev. Don Lockhart will officiate.  Interment will follow at Dawn Memorial Park.  Those desiring may send contributions to Palmetto Children's Home in Palmetto, GA.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 pm Monday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons.
