Juanita “Sam” Thompson of Stone Mountain died Thursday, September 11, 2008. She is survived by her husband, John Thompson; daughters, Lorrie Whitfield and Michelle Spence; and granddaughters, Brittany and Cassie Whitfield. Services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday at the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Larry T. Burgess officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. Friends may visit from 2 PM Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
