Julia Eassey, 92, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away June 12, 2013. Miss Eassey was born in Atlanta, November 5, 1920, to Essa E. Eassey and Mary Najour Eassey. She was a lifelong member of the St Mary's Ladies Society and the St Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church. Miss Eassey was preceded in death by her siblings, Annie Napty, Ellis Eassey, Lena Hale, George Eassey, and Victoria Gossett. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved and cared for as her own children. Funeral services for Julia Eassey will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church, with The Right Reverend Archimandrite Michael Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in her memory to St. Elias Antiochian Church, 2045 Ponce de Leon Ave, Atlanta GA 30307.
