Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of our Sister and Aunt, Karen Leigh Cheek, born on July 6, 1962.
She unexpectedly passed away on October 29, 2024, in Snellville, GA..
Karen is survived by, David Cheek - Brother and Delilah Cheek - Sister-in-law, of Monroe, GA. Amber Brock - Niece of Santa Rosa Beach, FL. Kerri Stark - Niece of Freeport, FL and also many Great Nieces and Nephews.
Karen was a beacon of Peace within our Family always looking to keep the Family connected. She was very successful in her career and passionate about education. She always looked forward to traveling and visiting new places. She loved her dog Casey and spending time making her backyard a Garden Oasis to enjoy! She leaves behind a legacy of Love, Kindness, and Unforgettable Memories.
Karen is preceded in death by her Father, Alton Cheek and her Mother, Sue Cheek. We are confident that they are Dancing together in Heaven and look forward to seeing her again.
The service for Ms. Karen Cheek will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 1PM at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur Ga.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, November 2, 2024 @ 11AM until 1PM at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur.
Burial will immediately follow the Service at Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain, GA.
