Kathryn Adams Nelson, age 89, of Decatur died Friday, February 4, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Raymond Nelson, brothers, Gene Adams, Marvin Adams, Emmett Adams & Charles Adams and a sister, Sarah Cross. She is survived by her daughters, Kay Dellinger, Sally Pitt and her husband, Ed ; grandchildren, Allen Rodi, John Rodi and his wife, Tiffany, Matthew Dellinger, Kathryn Dellinger, and Cathy Starr; great grandchildren, Brittany Rodi, Josh Rodi, Christopher Sellers and Lauren Pitt and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 7, 2011 at the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Dr. Greg Smith officiating. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
