La Vern Gentry

Mrs. La Vern M. Gentry of Atlanta died Saturday, September 17, 2005.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Gentry, and her daughter, Janett Burdette.  Mrs. Gentry is survived by her sons, Joe Gentry of Atlanta, Jeff Gentry of Oklahoma City, OK; son-in-law, Mike Burdette of Snellville; grandchildren, Britteny Burdette Baron, Pat Burdette, Courtney Welch, Tracy Gentry, and Ashley Gentry.  Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 21st at Lucerne Baptist Church.  Rev. Larry Burgess will officiate.  Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lucern Baptist Church, 4805 Highway 78, Lilburn, GA 30047.
