Larry Steward

Larry Steward was born on March 3, 1934 in Lawrenceville, Georgia, the only child of Naomi Robinson Houston (who preceded him in death). Larry departed this life February 18, 2009 at 6:50 a.m. to go home to be with the Lord.  He retired after 38 years at the University of Illinois Medical Center. He leaves to cherish his memory Verlena Steward, his wife of 42 years; Larry D. Steward and 3 children; Phyllis Coleman and 3 children and 2 grandchildren; Scherry Steward and 3 children and 1 grandchild; Phyllisa D. Steward and 3 children; Debra Nelson and 1 child; Linda Herring and 3 children and 2 grandchildren; Veronica Nelson and I child and I grandchild; and a host of family and friends. We love you, but God loves you the best.
