Mrs. LaVerne Koch, age 88 of Roswell, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012. She was a loving mother and dedicated wife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Koch and is survived by her son, David Koch of Marietta; daughter, Sandra Koch Rawlins of Eastman; grandchildren, Keri Koch Kaplan of Charlotte, NC, Amanda Koch Byers of Charlotte, NC and Martin Drew Rawlins of Belton, TX; and great-granddaughter, Emery Amanda Kaplan. LaVerne and Ed left a marvelous legacy for their family and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3rd at 1:00 PM in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment, Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 to 8 PM at A. S. Turner & Sons, Decatur.
