Lawson Prather

Mr. Lawson "Milton" Prather, 87, of Conyers, GA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2008.  Milton served in the U. S. Navy from August 21, 1942 to February 11, 1946 in the Pacific during World War II.  He is survived by his wife, Theresa Prather; and brother, Ralph Prather, both of Conyers. Milton will best be remembered as a kind, giving Christian Southern gentlemen.  His love for his country and compassion for those he knew and loved will be sorely missed.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P. M. Monday at Green Meadows Memorial Gardens in Conyers, GA. (770) 483-4457.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
